We are passionate fishers of people and disciples of Christ, casting our nets wherever He leads us.
At a Christian retreat in the California mountains, our pastor invited us to spend some quiet time in a small chapel. I closed my eyes and suddenly saw a vision: I was floating in the ocean among many others, and Jesus was pulling people from the water into a boat.
I wasn’t sure what the vision meant. A few days later, while looking through our church’s website, a verse caught my eye. In that moment, the vision became clear to me:
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” — Matthew 4:19
The Story Behind Fish & Faith
The name Fish & Faith came to me in a moment I believe was from God. As I was thinking of a name for the Christian nonprofit, the necklace I
was wearing appeared to turn into a fish. I took it as a meaningful sign and chose the name Fish & Faith.
In the summer of 2025, I felt Him calling me to share His Word through verse cards. During a mission trip in the summer of 2026, I had the opportunity to share that vision with churches and see how God brings people together.
By 2026 fall, I felt Him guiding Fish & Faith to care for families with children facing homelessness to financial hardship.
Today, Fish & Faith brings these callings together. We share God’s Word and love through verse cards, care packages, and creative outreach. We hope to offer both spiritual encouragement and practical care, while inviting others to join us.
Jesus said the harvest is plentiful. Let’s serve together, share His love, and trust Him with the seeds we plant.
Care Packages and Resources
We provide care packages to people experiencing homelessness and financial hardship. We also hope to connect children and families with practical resources for food, shelter, and other needs.
Verse Card Distribution
God’s Word can reach someone’s heart at just the right moment. We’ve seen people moved to tears while reading a verse card. Join us in sharing His Word and love with others, including those who may be hearing it for the first time.
Traveling Art Installations
In the future, we hope to create traveling art installations that share God’s love, move hearts, and inspire a new generation of fishers of people.
